Nighty Night

I took these pictures the other night for fun. :) Oh, and P.S. for all of you who are going to give me a hard time about the bows in the hair - I glued them in and they would last for several days at a time.

2 Grandma's for 2 babies

Grandma Jones and her sister, Aunt Linda, came and stayed with us last week and boy was that NICE! I have not had that kind of a break since the babies arrived. We have had lots of visitors and lots of help but this time there were 2 extra sets of hands.....one for each baby! I can tell that the babies REALLY miss them (they want to be held a lot now :) ) We also were able to do a few touristy things which was great as Chris and I have lived here 2 years now and still have a lot to see and do. We are pictured here in front of the back of President Andrew Jackson's mansion called The Hermitage. We spent almost 3 hours there and I really enjoyed learning the history there. It just confirms that I would flunk on the "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" show. I have forgotten so much! Thanks again to Grandma and Aunt Linda....it was great to see you and thank you for everything!

Stephen's to the rescue!!

In April, Chris, Cindi and Riley all came and visited. It was wonderful to have a reunion with our friends again as they are some of our most favorite people! Cindi and Riley were able to stay with us for 11 days and helped us with the babies. Cindi pampered us with the most wonderful homemade-from-scratch meals, which have been few and far between at our house in the past few months. She also ran the Music City Half Marathon with Chris. By the end we were all having such a great time that the girls started acting like 2 and 4 year old sisters. :) We really miss Riley as she was the best pacifier-putter-inner that we have had yet! Thanks for coming guys and we can't wait to see you again soon!

A nice surprise

Last month Grandpa Mike and Ana were able to come and visit us for a short weekend. It was such a nice surprise. Ana was GREAT help with the babies and Katie was the life of the party (as usual!)

Double Double Chin

And.........here we are getting ready to LEAVE THE HOUSE! Hoorah! After a long 9 weeks of staying practically "IN" the house, we are now starting to venture out a bit more. We (all the of us) have hit the park, the grocery store and even the mall. We are quite the spectacle sometimes, mainly in the grocery store. I push the double stroller in front of me and pull a grocery cart, with Katie in it, behind me. Who needs the gym when you have 3 kids?
The girls are fastly growing. I am sure they are both over 10 pounds now and they are getting double chins. The seat belt straps squish them in quite nicely and enhance thier little rolls. :)

This week Emery came over to play with Katie and while Tasha and I were downstairs feeding the babies, in came 2 princesses with skirts, shoes and purses. The funniest part was how cool they thought the were. I LOVE this part about little girls!

Aunite Ya-Ya, Pawa, Kara.....whatever

Auntie Kara came and hung out with us during her spring break last month. It was either "Camp Duncan" or Cancun, Mexico. Clearly she chose the funner of the two! We are always SO excited when she comes and definitely sad when she leaves. We can't wait to see her this summer!!!

A typical "Katie Day"

Unless we are making a public appearance, Katie's wardrobe consists of either pajamas or one of her many princess outfits. Here she is sporting a sleeping beauty princess skirt and snow white shoes. I think we have trained her well. She walks around taking pictures of EVERYTHING with her new princess camera too!
And here she is sporting a fabulous slept on 2 day hair-do and of course her super cool sunglasses. Aunt Kara came to visit last week and the girls and I drove with her to a basketball interview with Lipscomb University. While she was inside we waited in the car and watched a movie......in our pajamas of course.
Brookie in all her cuteness! She now weighs 9 lbs. 7 ounces and is 21 inches long!
Now is this cute or what? Lu-Lu loves to sleep Mommy-Daddy's bed (as Katie calls it) and has gotten pretty good at wiggling one arm out of her swaddler. She is now 9 lbs. 14 ounces and 21 1/4 inches long.
Daddy and his little girls. :)
