We started December by having breakfast with Santa! What a treat for our family. Isn't it funny that all children just LOVE Santa? (by default....and of course he brings the presents) Then when they meet him it is somehow so traumatizing? Well Katie is no exception and DID NOT want to sit on his lap. But after about 30 minutes of watching the other kids do it, she asked to go back so she could tell him what she wanted. :)
Our friends treated us to a nice surprise this year with some fun presents and some great Christmas movies! Thank you Steve and Kelsi! Katie just loves her friends Adyson and Savanah and then got her a doodle pro. Trying to get 5 to smile and look at the camera.....near bedtime...was impossible!
Uncle Tye came to see us for a few days before going back to Oregon. He just graduated from Southern Virginia University and also finished his Senior year as a wide receiver on the football team. He finished in the top 5 in the country for NAIA football and also received numerous awards and state honors. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished. He is headed next to Houston, TX to serve a 2-year full time mission. We are going to miss him DEARLY but can't wait to have him visit again.
The girls stayed out of the presents WAY better than expected. For 2 weeks they hardly knew the tree was there. Then one day....this happened. Lauren loved taking all the bows off and Brooklyn liked to sit on the presents.
The girls Christmas dresses were just darling this year. Everyone looked so cute. Church for us is at 1 p.m. A very hard time to entertain two 11 month olds! We always rush to make it there on time and were lucky to get this picture.
