New York City

This year for our Anniversary we went to New York to see the city and our dear friends, Gary & Myriam Olsen. Funny enough, we (meaning aggressive Chris) set these 2 love birds up a couple years ago. Now we love our visits with them, wherever they may be.
This was Chris' first official visit to the BIG Apple, which made it way more fun. We did everything your average tourist would do in a week, but we did it in less than 48 hours! I was completely exhausted by the end! It was a wonderful trip.

Gary, Myriam, Chantelle, Chris
Times Square
A view of the city from the Atlantic Ocean

The Statue of Liberty

The famous Christmas Tree at the Rockefeller Center

Chris, making friends with EVERYONE......even the cops!
This was so funny! Chris is extremely outgoing and friendly and people in New York are, well...usually NOT as much. He was trying to help mothers carry stollers up subway stairs, make small talk to movie directors....you name it. Some people welcomed it and some "mothers" thought he was stealing strollers. :) Definitely different from Tennessee.

Trump Tower
Chris was also way tooo excited to see if he could really go "potty" Mr. Trumps gold toilet? Definitely a NO-GO.
(ok, now which one of you friends tried to convince him that was even true, OR a good idea???)
Wall Street

More lights and another big tree. I made Chris pose by every lit tree in the city. LOL I can't help it....I just LOVE Christmas!!!

The end of the trip. Everything was funny by this point!

At this point some wives might post something mushy regarding their spouse. To Chris' sadness, I tend not to do that too publicly.
However, I will tell you that even though 7 years has been no "skip in the park," it has been a great journey that I hope to continue for eternity. I feel really blessed to have him as my husband and to enjoy 3 darling little girls together. Chris is a wonderful provider and an incredibly loving "Daddy."
Oh, and most importantly, he definitely makes our like FUN!
