THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

Here I am 34 weeks pregnant with twins. All of my family has been asking what I look like and how big I am since we live quite a ways from ALL of them. Good thing they asked or I might have just forgotten to take any pictures at all.

Today I am exactly 35 weeks. We are scheduled for a C-Section next Friday on the 25th, however, if on Monday Baby A's fluid has gone down then they will take them on Tuesday the 22nd. They are estimated to be about 5 lbs. by now.

It all seems like it has happened so fast yet I feel like I have been pregnant FOREVER! We can't believe that there are going to be 2 more to love.

Names? Does anyone have any ideas? Chris seems to think that I should set up an ebay auction where everyone can pay $1 to vote for a name...all the proceeds of which would be going to pay for 2 prom dresses, 2 college educations, 2 weddings and 2 of everything else that comes along the way. Is he a salesman or what?

Outside Please!

Today Katie and Nana went outside for quite a while to see all the animals and to throw rocks, which is a new favorite pastime/talent of Katie's. Today they saw birds and on most days they also see bunnies and deer in the evenings. We also have a neighborhood skunk which invited itself into our garage once and we hope NEVER returns. It was very cold today and around 4:00 started snowing.....actual snow. It is sticking to the ground and is even snowing again (at 9:00.) Picture this scene all in white as it doesn't happen very often around here!

A girl needs shoes

Katie loves wearing all of Mom's shoes! She waits until I take them off and then runs and puts them on herself.

A Day Out With Dad

Here is Katie looking just a little worried that Dad might leave without her. But like he promised, they had a day out and went to the playground (even though it was the coldest day of the year!) Daddy told Mommy that they were going to change their plans to an inside playground so I bundled her up with layers but didn't send Katie's heavy coat, hat and mittens. However, after lunch at McDonald's and some other errands, they drove by one of Katie's favorite playgrounds and Dad gave in and stopped. It was barely 30 degrees outside and our first sign of snow flurries were in the air but that didn't stop them. And they even had the ENTIRE playground to themselves.....imagine that.
