Last month we were able to go to Laguna Beach, California and spend some wonderful time with Chris' Aunt Terry and Uncle Evan. They live in Phoenix and decided it was way too hot there in the month of August and temporarily moved to California. Lucky for us, the love us and invited us along. I don't think they were expecting 9 (very heavy) luggage bags, 3 car seats, and 3 very noisy girls but they kept us anyway. :)Kara was able to come with us (thank Heaven's!) and while we were there we:
Practiced "trying" to crawl (Aunt Terry, Lauren & Brooklyn)
played games (Uncle Evan and Katie playing a Dora Memory game.....which even the grown-ups had a hard time with)
went to the beach! (Kara, Katie and Chris busy building a sand castle)
and relaxed! Is this picture not hilarious? She (Brookie) just fell asleep like this on the floor. hehe Terry and Evan also took us to Sea World which was a HUGE hit for Miss Katie. Just last week she finally stopped asking my every morning if we can "go to the beach" or "go see the whales."

Looks like fun! If I'd known you were leaving I would have tagged along. Chris' aunt wouldn't have minded at all. Glad you had a good time. Call me sometime!
